Another bumper Neswnight edition. First of all financial Armageddon returns.
What intrested me more was the item on Ethiopia. as for my earlier posts technolgy failures at Chez Carl mean I'm unable to watch a repeat so I have to go on my rapidly failing memory.
An undercover report from Ethiopia. Star comment was "don't be fooled by how green it is" looks can be deceptive. It was very green more green than my lawn. Interviews with, looked to me like muslim, separatists. Giving there horror stories of torture, rape etc. Now don't get me wrong it's probably likely that these crimes are committed however it was hearsay with no hard evidence. Back to the studio with Krusty Squawk interviewing somebody from the Ethiopian embassy. Accusing him of these crimes, including the woman with alleged bayonet stab wounds in her leg. Krusty are you a field medic do you know for sure these are bayonet wounds because I don't. All on the interviews done undercover in rebel territory. I'm not taking sides because I really couldn't care less apart from as usual the money our government is handing out.
Then to round off with a damp down story concerning the people want the death penalty back on e-petition. I'm sure the other reporter said that the don't bring back the death penalty had more votes-which didn't seem to be the case when I finally got on just now to vote for restoration of the death penalty hope that includes for acts of treason as well.
