Reports suggest that 22 member of staff have resigned from the Egyptian arm of Al Jazeera after complaining of pro-Muslim Brotherhood bias within the organisation
The 22 staff resigned on Monday over what they alleged was coverage that was out of sync with real events in Egypt, according to a report by the Gulf News website.
Anchor Karem Mahmoud announced that the staff resigned in protest against "biased coverage" of the recent events in Egypt. He explained that there was a lack of commitment and Al Jazeera professionalism in media coverage, stating, "the management in Doha provokes sedition among the Egyptian people and has an agenda against Egypt and other Arab countries.”
Mahmoud added that the management used to instruct each staff member to favour the Muslim Brotherhood.
He said that “there are instructions to us to telecast certain news”.

When I read this story at the Commentator I was wondering how the BBC would report it, especially as they have a similar pro-Muslim Brotherhood bias.
Simple answer - they didn't report it at all.
Just like they didn't report many of the attacks and threats of further violence perpetrated by Morsi supporters, nor that the army has now closed the MB headquarters after finding weapons there
Clearly they didn't want to attract attention to coverage of this kind being seen as biased.
I see their article on Egypt today:- Egypt's army warns over disruption after Morsi deposed has a video and two pictures.
The video has the caption Pro-Morsi supporters tell Lyse Doucet they are willing to die for their cause
Then a picture with this caption Supporters and opponents of the army's move have been amassing on the streets of Cairo.
And a picture of an Egyptian woman with this quote underneath:
Morsi came through ballot boxes, and he should only leave in the same way”
Funny how no opinions or quotes by those who are very happy to be rid of the rule of this foul organisation.
The fact that journalists have resigned at AL Jazeera because they were well aware of the insidious bias going on there, while BBC carries on with 'business as usual' shows just how more immoral, unethical, and insidious are the BBC journalists.
