Considering last night was from the region where UKIP were campaigning and an older audience, it would have been nice to hear from UKIP supporters, instead of the predictable left wing fraternity.
No surprise there then !

Since there is a questionnaire sent to every audience applicant, from which the political leanings of that applicant can be easily determined, the BBC have no problem ensuring that there will be majority left wing crowd.
However the BBC will claim that they endeavour to properly represent the views held in whatever area they are putting out the programme which we all know is a blatant lie.

Here's a copy of the present application to be in the QT audience. As you can see you have the option to tick 'Undecided' with regard to how you would vote in the next election, as well as simply stating that you didn't vote in the last. This is how I filled it in on 2 separate occasions when I was picked to be in the audience.
