Britain's National Union of Journalists denounced Israel on Friday for its "military adventures" in Gaza and Lebanon, called on the government to impose sanctions and urged a boycott of Israeli goods.
By a vote of 66 to 54, the annual delegate's meeting of Britain's largest trade union for journalists called for "a boycott of Israeli goods similar to those boycotts in the struggles against apartheid South Africa led by trade unions, and [for] the [Trades Union Congress] to demand sanctions be imposed on Israel by the British government." Its an amusing article: www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=1176152792457&pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull

Great - I hope they check the hardware in their PC's to see if it wasn't made and developed in Israel, and stop using it. That'll save the world from a load of tripe, free from their output.

To add further perspective following the decision by the national union of journalists in the UK ( a trade union) to boycott Israel, many British journalists across the board ridiculed the decision, some even canceled membership, but by far the most interesting article to come out of all this is the one below. This was in The Daily Sport - British version of New York Post -The View from Here - read below......

This put a smile on my face. It is excellent counter to propaganda and goes right to the heart - of Israel and the dark prejudice from those who hate them. Thanks Geese the extent of ingenuity and contributions has surprised me... but they still haven't improved upon the suicide vest.

Reminds me of the joke about two Muslim women in Harrods, a fancy department store, trying on new burkas. While modelling one, a woman turns to the other and says "does my bomb look big in this?"
