Name: Andrew Marr BBC Position: Journalist and Political Commentator "The BBC is not impartial or neutral. It's a publicly funded, urban organisation with an abnormally large number of young people, ethnic minorities and gay people. It has a liberal bias not so much a party-political bias. It is better expressed as a cultural liberal bias." We are biased, admit the stars of BBC News

I notice in the article you link to this statement In one of a series of discussions, executives were asked to rule on how they would react if the controversial comedian Sacha Baron Cohen ) known for his offensive characters Ali G and Borat - was a guest on the programme Room 101.
On the show, celebrities are invited to throw their pet hates into a dustbin and it was imagined that Baron Cohen chose some kosher food, the Archbishop of Canterbury, a Bible and the Koran.
Nearly everyone at the summit, including the show's actual producer and the BBC's head of drama, Alan Yentob, agreed they could all be thrown into the bin, except the Koran for fear of offending Muslims.
Let's understand this properly, it's not the fear of offending Muslims that is their concern, since they don't 'fear' offending anybody else's sensibilities, it is the fear of reprisal from Muslims that they fear. In other words - the BBC is chicken shit, and Muslims can do what they like.

That's the way to giving away all our freedoms and letting Muslims walk all over us. The BBC should be renamed ABC (Appeasement Broadcasting Corporation).
BTW thanks for editing the link, I had forgotten how to do that.

Yes Andrew we know all about the BBC. What they don't always tell us is that you were a member of the SOCIALISTS party and at Cambridge you say " you were a raving leftie" and acquired the nickname "Red Andy" just the perfect credentials for the BBC and anyone looking to further their career in the EU.Personally I can't stand you or your politics and would love to smack you in your deceitful mouth. You see I hate paying Commies wages.

Re: Andrew Marr, If Red Andy ever get around to interviewing Red Ed do you think there will be any speaking in tongues or just an outright public feast of fellatio

In an age when journalists have no compunctions about revealing the weaknesses and transgressions of celebrities and politicians for the public consumption, at least those that are interested, it is not surprising when it is the journalists themselves that are involved in seedy activities they will do their best to conceal it. Especially those who have a high profile, like Andrew Marr. Following an affair some years ago, Marr hypocritically obtained a High-Court injunction to avoid being named and shamed. His fat salary paid for the by the licence fee payer enabled him to do that, unlike what us ordinary mortals could afford for ourselves. Now his indiscretions have been revealed, Marr has these pearls of wisdom to share with us - like I need or care what philosophy or morality this lowlife has to impart. Expect to hear this mantra repeated a lot more by the various BBC journalists as they get found guilty of more serious indiscretions "Am I embarrassed by it? Yes. Am I uneasy about it? Yes.....But...."

More today by Marr trying to convince the public that he's really an upstanding caring soul at heart. Andrew Marr admits that he felt 'trapped’ by gagging order Andrew Marr, the BBC presenter, said he 'hated’ being in the position of using an injunction to keep an extramarital affair a secret.
By Tim Walker 6:30AM BST 27 Apr 2011 The sense of frustration with which Andrew Marr has spoken about the “gagging order” he obtained to keep secret an extramarital affair is nothing if not heartfelt. “I hate this situation,” the BBC presenter told me. “I feel trapped. I wanted to do what was best for the baby and the mother of the child, and also to protect my own family. “I was pursued with ferocity by the other party’s lawyers and agreed to make financial provision for the baby. It was a one-night stand, no more than that, but it hadn’t occurred to me not to take this woman at her word. A DNA test has shown that the baby is not mine. Maybe I should ask for my money back.” The reason for the gagging order was to protect his reputation. He's proved by his actions what he is truly about, and just wants to extricate himself. Goes to prove that most in the BBC don't mind doing wrong, they just don't want to get caught, and when they do - they "hate themselves". If you really had the morality that you pretend, you wouldn't need a gagging order, and wouldn't have to hate yourself!
