I think a combined effort would be great. Relating from both sides of the pond on just how 'united' the nation members truly are. What a mockery!

Am I still allowed entitled to criticise the BBC since I have achieved reached the age of 75 and now possess a free TV licence?

Congratulations on attaining that milestone Charm. Presumably you're still bothered by how this insidious organisation is manipulating our society, so the answer is a definite YES.

Hello. I am an occasional lurker here who has finally signed up. I cut my messageboard teeth at the BBC. That was in their 'glory days' when the merest questioning of feminism or support for Israel could get your posts catpeed by the left-wing protectors of free speech.
A former Labour supporter, my long progress to the right began in the late 1970s. These days I hover between Conservative and UKIP. A supporter of grammar schools, national service, Israel, strict immigration controls and a complete overhaul of the benefits system (the more they squeal the more you know you're getting it right) An enemy of the EU, Islam, multiculturalism and hand-wringing liberals. I'll stop at four, the list is a long one!
And the BBC? I'm a great defender of it, or rather, a defender of what it once was. Nowadays it is a joke. And a damned expensive one.

A very warm welcome Harry. For all the views you present it's clear why you will spot the BBC agenda and we look forward to read your observations - past and present. Most pro-BBC viewers will immediately respond to the 'expensive' cost of keeping the BBC going as ridiculous since it is only 40p a day. But as we all know, we are not referring to the cost of the licence fee, but the negative damage it creates to our society that is expensive - far more than money.
