You probably will have read over the last few weeks of statements made by historian David Starkey on Newsnight over the cause of the recent riots, and the subsequent furore apparently created by them.
His basic point was to say that part of the cause for the mentality of the youths involved was that white children had adopted 'the black' street culture. You can listen to the broadcast here if you want the complete segment

Now I can understand the context of his argument, regardless of whether I agree with this being the main cause of the riots. I can't see where he's being racist as I believe he's intelligent enough to know there are so many highly successful black people that he's not referring to blacks on the whole but the stereotypical 'gangsta' types, which we know exists and much of their influence has been picked up by some of the white youth here.
Does anybody intelligent really have a problem with it, regardless if you agree or not with his viewpoint?
But to the left-wing types that populate this country, it becomes a valid excuse to show the world just how liberal and caring about the thoughts and feelings of others they are. This is their opportunity to vaunt their image, regardless of the actual merit of their claim.
So Starkey's comment is deemed 'RACIST'.
Over the last 16 years, since I first got involved in internet forums, I've had plenty of opportunity to examine the left wing mentality. A few key dynamics stand out.
1. They are unable to put together a stream of thoughts and form a cohesive conclusion, but rather revolve around a few set 'black and white' glaringly obvious points.
2. They want to be seen as 'good', so support any cause which will give more rights to the 'underdog'. Note - victims of the 'underdogs' are not the underdogs.
3. They will never admit they are wrong, even when you present conclusive logic to show the error of their thinking. As soon as they feel cornered, they generally launch into personal insults, and then start their argument from the beginning again, regardless of any input you have already given.
4. As soon as you show you disagree with their expressed viewpoint they deem you evil, which much belies their professed 'liberal and caring' mentality, the one they want to be appreciated for. They probably see themselves at this point as being 'strong against the odds', but the fact is they lack the intellectual capacity to logically argue their case.
A recent example of this was yesterday on the Nick Ferrari show on LBC Radio, where he was discussing whether those feral children found guilty of crimes during the riots should be named and shamed. He spent a few minutes interviewing a woman professor against this proposal, who spoke in a highly exaggerated sophisticated accent to show just how much culture ran through her blood, as we find so often in the types airing daily on the BBC. Nick asked her her opinion on the subject, having stated that he felt it was a fair result for the lack of public respect these youths had displayed. Instead of arguing her point, she immediately tore into him asking whether he wanted to spit on them. Vaunting herself up after this she declared how 'misunderstood' they were - a position usually adopted by the left wingers - supporting the criminals, wanting to give them more rights, and viewing any victims as deserving of their fate for not being as 'emancipated as them', thereby causing their own fate.
I don't dispute that those involved in the rioting are sick minds and need rehabilitation, but in the words of the Dog Whisperer - Cesar Milan, that comes through Rules, Boundaries, and Limitations. The lack of which, led by the left wingers, has created their sick minds to begin with.
So with the above points in mind, is it any wonder these left wing types elevate to the media. A place where they can launch their thoughts out into the world, and be free of any comeback - much like we see of those in the BBC? Left wingers are an inferiority complex that has found a way to present themselves as clever and powerful, regardless of outcome. Until that power is taken away from them then we are doomed to the only outcome possible when led by inferior minds.
I disagree with Starkey that the 'whites have become black', just that the society LED BY THE MEDIA has made it easy, almost encouraged these youths - black, white, or whatever, and the parents who created them, to adopt the mindset they have.
By way of support for his argument though, and to finish my diatribe on a lighter note, here's something to show just how the BBC might be responsible for changing 'White children into Black'.
