As I Royalist, I watched on BBC both before the birth and people's comments afterwards. This was shown minutes after the appearance of William and Kate showing their new daughter to the world for the first time.
I can't remember his name, but it was a man being interviewed who was totally Anti-Royal and in fact ran a website/blog for the anti monarchy brigade.
I can't believe that Auntie BBC would allow an anti-royalist arsehole to be given airtime on a ROYAL SPECIAL to spout his venom against the Royal Family. He even had the gall to say that this new princess was NO MORE IMPORTANT than any of the other two thousand babies born today, and those born yesterday and tomorrow. Of course she's more important - she's fourth in line to The Throne.
Of course, not everybody loves the Royal Family, but if you must make your opinions known, at least have the decency for a week or two to elapse - not almost immediately after the event. In very bad taste - Shame on you BBC !!!

I'd have laid odds on it, and I have the feeling, given your experience of BBC output, that you would have too. There is no depth to which they will not stoop.
