The BBC's Charter and its Producers Guidelines state: ...'Due impartiality lies at the heart of the BBC. All programs and services should be open minded, fair and show a respect for truth? [BBC reports should] contain comprehensive, authoritative and impartial coverage of news and current affairs in the United Kingdom and throughout the world?? How does the BBC measure up to its charter?

In a BBC television news , anchor said :

"Today 2 Islamic jihad militants were killed in a Israeli air strike." Earlier in the day "2 hamas militants were killed by Israel.".

What BBC did not mention.

In the same day sderot , a town near Gaza border, was hit by a kassam rocket.

Woman lightly hurt in Qassam attack

Two rockets land in southern town of Sderot. One injures woman in Sapir College; another lands in elementary school, causes damage. Islamic Jihad's military wing claims responsibility; two group members killed in IDF strike shortly afterwards

BBC has an agenda. the agenda is to depict israel as the aggressor.
BBC does report Israeli strike against Islamic jihad but does fail to report earlier Islamic jihad strike against Israel.

At present, the BBC is only answerable to itself in deciding its standards and coverage. How does it measure up to what you consider good quality, and impartial and unbiased reporting as required by its charter? All TV viewers in the UK are forced by law to pay for this 'service'.
