A blogger at 'Britain Today' has noted how various articles on the CBBC website are aimed to make sure children are already inculcated into the BBC way of thinking.
CBBC grooms children
....into believing in global warming. This is from CBBC's agony uncle page -
....into loving Big Bother, which wants to "change the way people live" -
....into writing off some "tiny islands", as they're thousands of miles away -
....into ignoring the Ulster loyalists and blaming Britain for "lots of problems" -
....and now it's back to global warming. What a pity that CBBC provides no link to the thought police, so that children can inform on their climate sceptical parents and get them carted off in the middle of the night.

"I get worried that the world will end"
"Aaron says - While there are some problems going on in the world right now, there are no signs at all that the world will end. The most dangerous thing to the world is climate change but it’s a slow process and all the nations in the world are trying to get a handle on that. Sometimes getting a sense of control over something can help you to worry about it less, so think of something you could do locally to help with climate change."
....into loving Big Bother, which wants to "change the way people live" -
"The European Union is a group of countries whose governments work together. It grew out of the aftermath of the Second World War. Many people felt that the best chance of preventing future wars, and of promoting peace and prosperity in Europe, was by countries working more closely together. It's a bit like a club. To join you have to agree to follow the rules and in return you get certain benefits. Each country has to pay money to be a member. They mostly do this through taxes. The EU uses the money to change the way people live and do business..."
....into writing off some "tiny islands", as they're thousands of miles away -
"The PM became a hero to many when in 1982 she sent British Troops to defend the Falklands. The tiny islands eight thousand miles away in the South Atlantic sea had been invaded by Argentina. Although hundreds of lives were lost, the victory was celebrated on the streets back home."
....into ignoring the Ulster loyalists and blaming Britain for "lots of problems" -
"For hundreds of years, Ireland was ruled by its next door neighbour - Great Britain. Many people objected to being ruled by Britain. A campaign to make Ireland independent started. In 1922, most of the island became independent from Britain. This became the Republic of Ireland. But in the north, six counties remained under British rule and became part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Some people were unhappy about this and it led to lots of problems in Northern Ireland."

"Air pollution can be caused by - motor vehicle exhaust, power stations, car manufacturing, fertilizer factories, demolishing buildings, solvent evaporation, volcanic eruption, building roads, forest fires. What can happen? Global warming, acid rain, smog, ozone depletion are some effects of air pollution."
