news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6694227.stmApart from the obvious aspects of bullsh*t behind this story, not least the fact that the whole "proposal" is nothing but a feel-good measure which will exert a devastating economic cost on countries that agree to it, while doing absolutely NOTHING to "stabilize" a climate which has never, ever been stable (not that the BBC would ever give consideration to such objective facts), the BBC continues to tell this bare faced lie: Those who bother to check facts and actually (shock horror) do some research, know that Clinton signed the Kyoto treaty, but did not get the senate to ratify it, for obvious reasons (like the fact that it will cost billions and have absolutely no impact on the climate). Simply consulting the Wikipedia entry for "Kyoto" would have clarified this for the BBC. Having said that, they stopped short of claiming, as the leftist media often does (even in the US) that "Bush refuses to sign Kyoto" (how can he sign a treaty that Clinton already signed?) Germany's proposals are nothing short of preposterous, by the way. And I love the way Greenpeace describe the act of a country acting rationally as "criminal". But whatever!

You mean that the US will not be using 'global warming' as an excuse to put all these 'green' stealth taxes into force - how shameful I'm sure Al Gore will have something to complain about, as he is a well known 'greenie' as he likes to profess - the picture shows just how much - "Don't do as I do, do as I tell you"

You can see his left eye looking at the woman in a "I care and am concerned about what you are saying". His right is looking toward the camera wondering "is it catching the right eye?" His overall face sums it up - over-bloated.
