One of the easiest ways to see the priorities of the BBC, which then highlights their agenda, is to observe which articles feature on their main web-page for the given area; what has happened recently; and how long a particular article remains there.
Here is today's offering by the BBC for their Mid-East Web-page as fed to Yahoo.
Now this is the day after at least 52 people, mostly Catholics, were killed in a Baghdad church following a siege by Islamic terrorists. The only reference to it in any way appears in the story under the headline 'Iraq channel off air after raid', which itself gives no indication.
What does feature however is the story of a woman who stabbed an MP for his support of the Iraq War - MP stabbed in 'revenge for Iraq'. One has to wonder though what makes it headline news today when the incident happened back in May.
We know full well that anything that demonizes Israel will always hit the top spot, so guess what, a human rights group has interviewed Palestinian prisoners in Israel, who were obviously arrested for offences against the State, and shock horror they all claimed to have been mistreated in some way or other while in captivity. Imagine that! All the claims have been dismissed by the Ministry of Justice in Israel, but for the BBC that holds no weight.
However, the fact that a soldier was imprisoned for being photographed holding a gun to a blindfolded Palestinian prisoner in an unrelated matter to above, immediately makes one of the top spots on the web-page. It hasn't yet occurred to the BBC that if the Israel justice system does punish those who humiliate or torture any prisoners in their charge, that their previous article doesn't quite have a ring of truth to it.
But the BBC won't let anything like logic or reason get in the way of their agenda.
