Name: Ben Stephenson BBC Position: Senior BBC Executive - Controller of BBC Drama "If we didn't all think differently, have different ideas of what works and what doesn't, wouldn't our lives, and more importantly, our TV screens be less interesting? We need to foster peculiarity, idiosyncrasy, stubborn-mindedness, left-of-centre thinking." Senior BBC executive faces Tory anger over 'left of centre thinking'

Ignoring the 'left of centre thinking' line, which I know was covered in the Daily Mail article you linked to, another very disturbing aspect of what this man says is wouldn't our lives, and more importantly, our TV screens be less interesting? So according to him, it's not the affect on our lives that we should be concerned about - in what works or doesn't, it's how it appears on our TV screens.
Wake up people before you'll be too late to save anything worthwhile within our society - this is the mind of a SENIOR BBC EXECUTIVE.
