The BBC 'story' is so absurd it deserves posting in full for all all to see, especially the way the BBC tries to make the most out of a slip of the tongue, by drawing the conclusion Her slip of the tongue over North Korea will provide more ammunition for critics who say she doesn't have sufficient knowledge or experience for high office. Also the picture they use for Sarah Palin shows how they want her presented. Funny how they only have as flattering as possible for Obama, which considering his jug ears can't be easy. Clearly they learned that by demeaning previous President Bush for every gaffe he made had an effect on public perception they are doing the same for Palin. If they really learned from the Bush episode they would see that Bush made 2 terms in office, which is unlikely for Obama.

I listened to the audio clip with Beck and if it was live I know I wouldn't have thought 2 cents worth. An honest slip of north and south. I did wonder though when Obama referenced our 57 states, that to me just doesn't seem so easy Anyway I don't think this hurts Palin here. I actually think people are getting used to all the mockery as her poll numbers have gone up this past year.

Shows how desperate her detractors are, much like the guy pointing out how you'd missed an 'e'

Well it was obvious the man I was referencing but, his pointing it out did cause me to wonder if you weren't desperately polite when I initially posted? ;D

To be honest I'd never heard of the guy (either of them) before then, and overlooked the spelling at the time. If I felt it was really important I could always have modified it. In any event, anybody who would focus on that aspect of your posting rather than the actual content is the 'desperate' one
