The BBC have been accused of acting like a real life version of the comedy The Office after spending nearly £1 million on actors to role play as disgruntled staff.

Managers hired the actors to teach staff how to hold "courageous conversations" and teach them how to handle unhappy employees.
The various courses included paying actors from React Acting for Business to play "angry staff" who refuse to move from London to the new BBC HQ in Salford in role-playing courses with BBC bosses.
Other courses attended by BBC staff included classes called "Courageous Conversations", 'Directing Your Presenter' and "Diversity Training", a Freedom of Information request has revealed.
The "courageous conversations" course teaches staff how to deal with "difficult conversations" bosses need to have with staff who "aren't performing at an acceptable level".
It states that ignoring the problem of underperforming staff can create dissatisfaction amongst "high fliers" who see bad performers go unpunished and suggests a series of skills and mindsets to "deal with the problem".
Other classes held between 2006 and 2011 – which cost a total of £901,097 – included "Leadership Essentials", "Fair Selection", "Pivotal Conversations", "Managing Customer Relations" and "Networking Made Simple".
The BBC also spent £193,391 in the last five years employing actors to sit in on job interviews with senior BBC employees to ensure they cut the mustard.
Among the interviews in which actors were used included those for the chief operating officer, director of corporate finance, head of marketing, head of communications and head of vision – among 124 others.
And in the past two years the BBC has splashed out £19,040 on actors to play the part of "disgruntled employees" who are against the move from London to Salford in role-play scenarios with BBC bosses.
The React Acting for Business website states that it has more than 60 "carefully selected actor/role play associates that can bring consistency and realism to training".
It adds: "Amongst our actors are those who have worked as managing directors, barristers, systems analysts, economists, doctors academics, senior and middle managers and office workers.
"We train them in facilitation skills, coaching and feedback skills and they have a deserved reputation for being friendly, straightforward and excellent at what they do."
A BBC source said: "There are plenty of genuine staff up in arms about the move – there's no need for actors.
"These courses are considered a total and utter joke – it's like something from The Office – you expect David Brent to walk in at any minute."
Emma Boon of the Taxpayers Alliance said: "This is yet another example of BBC profligacy. "Instead of pleading poverty, they should cut out spending like this."
In response to the Freedom of Information request, a spokesman for the BBC said: "The BBC is careful to ensure value for money in its recruitment services, training and development activities.
"Where it is appropriate and provides best value, we occasionally use actors to ensure our staff recruitment is most effective."
