While posting on a political forum I quoted from a frontpage BBC report on Libya. Quote. 'He said the bodies of sub-Saharan Africans could be seen on the streets, amid claims by the rebels that many of those fighting for Col Gaddafi were foreign mercenaries'.A few hours later while reading the BBC's updated report on events I noticed they had changed the story to this. Quote. 'Our correspondent says the bodies of several of Col Gaddafi's fighters were found. The rebels said they were foreign mercenaries from Chad.'www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14605391The reports' related video confirms the first quote. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-14602347 Is this normal editing or something more sinister?

Welcome B I see what you assert is correct in terms of what was reported first, then modified in a later updated article, but fail to see your concern. It would appear that in the later article the reporter confirmed that the dead he had seen the previous day were Gaddafi's mercenaries, as claimed by the rebels. Please explain what disturbs you about this.
