The BBC World Service and Radio 4 news were reporting the UN report of the Turkish flotilla and all through last night were describing those killed as "peace activists"

Considering the ludicrous reporting by the BBC, ignoring making clear in every story about Gaza, that Israel evacuated all of its citizens from Gaza and turned it over to the Palestinians, despite that some Jewish families living there had been doing so for hundreds of years.
Israel left the Palestinians with a working infrastructure, and even viable industries that they had been running until their departure. Instead of getting on with their lives and independence they began launching rockets and mortars at Israel, to which Israel responded with a blockade.
Anybody portraying 'humanitarian concerns' for Palestinians there, when their plight was chosen by themselves, has a very clear agenda.
These activists are as much about 'peace' as the BBC. Their agenda can be clearly understood from the perspective that the BBC disingenuously continues to portray.

Hi Peaceheretic. Welcome to the forum.
You mention the Brownshirt Broadcasting Corporation's World service and my heart goes out to you if you have to listen to that terrorist supporting anti Semitic, anti Christian, anti west and anti British propaganda that would have made even Goebells cringe with embarrasment.
Unfortunately in my job this is the only access to the 'media' that I have for most of the year and, believe me, this station sinks to the depths of depravity with it's bigotry and lies.
One bit of good news is that those whom I work with who used to look to this station with fondness and affection now regard it with the contempt it deserves.

The dynamics of enlightenment may not mean that we see the world in a better way, it can often be we see it as worse, but seeing it clearer means we can better change the reality to something better eventually. Your good news cheers me greatly

Priceless ;D It's the humour that's missing in our own society about so much of what is going on in the Muslim world that helps put it into a true perspective. Not coming to any BBC production any time soon

It's difficult not to feel 'what's the catch?' when assessing the UN report. You're probably right about Palmer
