An article today by the BBC on events in Israel is this one below, where a few things stand out to show the usual distortion used by the BBC.
Following Israel forces destroying 3 illegal Jewish settler homes, it would appear that sympathisers, or possibly the affected settlers themselves, set fire to a mosque in a nearby Palestinian village.
I notice first that there is absolutely no separate article about the razing of the settler homes itself, such like CNN has:
Israel destroys 3 houses at illegal West Bank community, which considering every time Israel approves new building in the West Bank area, the BBC are first to make it headline news to demonize Israel, shows what they want to project.
Also the fact that the mosque was not active and that there were no prayer books in it. You'd think if the BBC was concerned about not stirring up Muslims they would make this clear.
And they present a blatant lie as fact when they state in the article that Graffiti in Hebrew threatening further attacks had been left on the walls, residents added. This is repeated under this picture which is shown at the beginning of the article
Villagers said Hebrew graffiti daubed on the Kasra mosque threatened further attack
The picture actually shows the graffiti to say "Muhammad is a pig", and apparently another section that had graffiti but not shown said "Social justice for Alei Ein and Migron". Alei Ein is another West Bank outpost which has had illegal structures demolished. Nothing about threatening further attacks.
Lest you think it was pure ignorance that the BBC only took the word of Palestinians who claimed the graffiti said there would be more attacks, you can see this line in their article Settlers may have set fire to the mosque in retaliation, Israeli newspapers suggest.. So if the journalist writing the story is aware of what the Israeli papers are saying, then they are aware of what the graffiti really says.
But it suits the BBC agenda to run it just that way. You can contrast their article to that of CNN's to see how it is presented, yet the BBC like to present themselves as world class. Only those whose cause is vaunted by them, or those who don't want to think otherwise for fear it would destroy their illusion, could think so.

Fire and graffiti attack on Palestinian mosque in Kasra
Villagers said Hebrew graffiti daubed on the Kasra mosque threatened further attacks
Two tyres were set on fire and thrown into the mosque in the village of Kasra, near the West Bank city of Nablus, 65km (40 miles) north of Jerusalem, they said.
Graffiti in Hebrew threatening further attacks had been left on the walls, residents added.
Israeli authorities say they are investigating.
The arson attack was carried out just hours after Israeli police demolished three illegal structures at the nearby hilltop Jewish settlement of Migron.
Settlers may have set fire to the mosque in retaliation, Israeli newspapers suggest.
Increased attacks
There has been sharp rise in violence involving settlers in 2011, the UN says.
In 2011 alone, there have been more than 250 incidents in which Palestinians have been injured or had their property damaged.
Tensions have been running high two weeks ahead of a planned appeal by the Palestinian leadership to the United Nations, calling for the acceptance of an independent Palestinian state within its 1967 borders in the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem.
Israel is fiercely against the move.
The Israeli army has reportedly been training settlers in preparation for potential clashes with Palestinians.
There are some 500,000 Jewish Settlers living in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Settlements are regarded as illegal under international law, although Israel disputes this.
