With the BBC obsession already shown about Theresa May's 'cat' it was no surprise it would be on this week's QT, and sure enough it was the first question.
Judging from the opinions expressed by the 3 left-wing panellists (besides Dimbleby) - Billy Bragg, Charles Kennedy, and Andy Burnham, and as we have already shown in the topic on the subject, the BBC wished to dismiss and ridicule the notion that we should seek to abolish our adherence to the EU Human Rights Act. As always, they ensured a majority left wing audience, but still enough sensible people with a fair amount of real passion, were able to say that they thought the present Human Rights issues are truly leading the country down the wrong path. So it would appear the BBC were surprised to see that not everybody is taken in by their propaganda, and that some feel very strongly about issues that really touch their lives, and are getting tired of the crap, like the way this Human Rights Act is used, is inflicted on them.
Other questions, all related to recent Conservative Party issues raised. naturally in as negative a way as possible. It amazes me that on the subject of current day economics, the voice of the Labour Party is given any credulity. After all, they got us into this mess to begin with, and to think for one moment they have any answer to get us out of it is pure lunacy. But they can voice all kind of 'wisdom's' that give the appearance that they do, when in fact they should be laughed out of the studio.
But the BBC goes on selling them.
I suggest when watching it to see if you can identify which of those in the audience swallow the BBC line - hook, line and sinker.
Available to be seen again here for up to a year.
Feel free to post your impressions.
