When they need a new political editor for their Newsnight programme, where else should they look for someone than at the print version of their propaganda - The Guardian. Do you think it's for the reason that she studied archaeology and anthropology at Cambridge, or her existing political views?

Allegra Stratton appointed political editor of BBC’s Newsnight
Allegra Stratton, the former political correspondent at the Guardian, has been appointed political editor of the BBC’s Newsnight programme.
The appointment follows Michael Crick’s departure to Channel 4 News, as its chief political reporter.
Stratton has previously been a Newsnight producer and has worked on The Andrew Marr Show and This Week.
Stratton, a Cambridge archaeology and anthropology graduate, said: “It's a privilege to be returning to Newsnight. It is a great programme with an important role in stimulating political debate, especially at such a turbulent time both here and abroad.”
