The New Year had hardly started when Jules Holland handed the microphone to non-comedian Jo Brand who expressed her wish to 'destroy the coalition' in the new Year!
Earlier we were treated to another fine example of what the TUC News Service that have in effect taken over the BBC now considers to be 'comedy', on Have I Got News For You.
Question- 'What does David Cameron do after he's been shaking hands with working class people?'
Answer- A clip of our PM coming out of an NHS ward and stopping, as is good practice, to use the hand sanitizer!
Neither of the above could ever remotely be described as witty or comedic but they were viscerally nasty, biased and apparently broadcast with the full approval of the BBC.
It seems the BBC has decided that 2012 is the year it is going to abandon any semblance of political impartiality to try and bring back TUC rule (via their puppet party Labour) at any cost, regardless of any consideration of their credibility and global reputation.
There is now no cheap, nasty, insulting, possibly libelous tactic that they won't stoop to. Sadly now for me Jules Holland's show has to join the ever longer list of programmes I no longer watch that I used to enjoy watching, because they have been hi-jacked by Lefty half-brains like Jo brand.
Seriously, open-minded, non-idealistic, non-brainwashed people shouldn't have to pay for a TV licence when the BBC dishes up such garbage and calls it satire or comedy. We all can see only too clearly what it really is!

Good posts Cher, and Happy New Year.
You're right that the BBC are getting more and more blatant in their bias, as they realise there's little than anybody is going to do about it. I believe that's what will bring about their eventual downfall, at least that's what history has consistently shown. It's just how much damage they do before that happens.

BBC Today - Clegg: 'No-one planned' for EU isolationWhat a horrible experience to wake up to Sarah Montague showing the UK deputy PM all the respect you and I would offer a dog turd on our shoe. In the 12 minutes the ordeal lasted, during which she repeatedly and very angrily ranted interruptions over just about every point he was trying to make, I had to ask myself how he had the composure to not get up and attempt to stick her microphone down her throat! If they try it on Cameron I hope he just gets up and walks out-it's been done before. How they think that this kind of very aggressive, hectoring pressurised interview is likely to inform anyone about anything other than how far the Today programme team have disappeared up their own assholes I have no idea!

Labour complains to BBC about 'pro-coalition coverage'Could this nonsensical suggestion be responsible for Sarah Montague's abandonment of professionalism and impartiality? Of course not, it's an understanding between the two mutual appreciation societies; BBC and Labour. Whenever people like me are in danger of actually being believed, the BBC make the telephone call to Labour, and all of a sudden Miliband is accusing the BBC of doing the opposite of what we KNOW it is really doing all the time! I have seen this stunt so many times now I feel ashamed of how stupid Labour and the BBC think the rest of us really are. But really they should be ashamed for allowing their wishful thinking to persuade them that they are far more intelligent than the rest of us. Even in the case of my two geriatric cats, nothing could be further from the truth. An ageing rat called 'Rabbit' came to my clinic the other night. He had the beginnings of a chest infection and has never fully recovered from a stroke he had last year. Still I would rather 'Rabbit' became our PM if the only alternative was the SELF-SERVING bloated fat cats of the TUC and their craven groupies in the party, Labour, the TUC created to serve them!

Here's something that might account for Montague's hostility to Clegg On the Clegg interview webpage you link to above, it tells us Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has urged the UK to re-engage with Europe and called for more action on tax avoidance in the first of the Today programme New Year leader interviews.
"We must constantly explain to people what we are doing in this government," he told Sarah Montague, setting out how a fairer tax system and the "pupil premium" showed how his party had delivered in the coalition.
On Europe, he denied being a "starry eyed" pro-European, insisting that engagement with the EU must be based on UK interests.
"No-one planned for an outcome which left Britain in a position of one," he said of David Cameron's use of the EU veto.
"Standing tall and speaking out loud and clear from the heart of Europe" was essential for jobs, he said.
And on tax, he said the public were "angered" that large companies and a wealthy elite "get out of paying their fair share of tax".
He said that the government were considering a blanket law preventing tax avoidance, and said he hoped for "more action" on the issue in future budgets Now read this from today's Telegraph BBC presenters set up companies to avoid 50 per cent tax rate

Good heavens, you couldn't write it could you. Let's find 'Rabbit' a constituency to stand in. Mine would be good. Before the last election my local Labour branch came up with a popular local candidate. Unfortunately for the locals Gorgon Brown was seeking a safe seat for one of his protegees, one Chris Lesley, to be bumped up into parliament. He rightly chose my constituency as the one most likely to vote Labour for ever and ever and so his anointed candidate is now my MP.
He was on Newsnight tonight. I can't tell you how it went because when I saw who it was and felt the anger at how Brown had ridden over the democratic process to get this careerist snivelling little arsewipe into Westminster it suddenly got too much to bear.
As a Tory in a Labour stronghold at least I could have felt good about the heir to my constituency being the choice of the locals. In the case of Chris Leslie, who I actually made look stupid at an electoral meeting, everyone in our friendly and mainly tolerant community have had to settle for having a careerist appointed squit for an MP! That's Labour for you!
This morning the Today programme spent 2 or 3 minutes on the Dianne Abbott outburst. Of course they didn't get the point though of course they must have known. 'Divide and Rule' was a phrase coined by one Adolph Hitler.
Not only is she an anti-white racist Abbott believes white people are all Nazis! If these twisted psychopaths and morons ever get back into power again I think I'll head off to the US and plead political asylum in the same way Soviets did during the Cold War. Hopefully it won't come to that.

The bbC made big play of David Cameron and Boris Johnson going to public schools yet have been light on Dianne Abbott of the 'workers party' doing the same for her kids.
Funny that.
