Tim Levells 'right-on' explanation as to why there is a dispraportionate amount of black faces on the VOX POP sections of Children's Newsround reads like some kind of conjurers trick:

It's just typical BBC coached double-speak to convince us that what we are seeing is merely an accidental illusion and not deliberate bias.

The simple, bottom line explanation for why there are more black faces than white on a programme like Newsround is because Tim - just like many of his BBC cohorts suffer from a serious dose of white middle class guilt.

They have this in-built knee jerk reaction to ethnic minorities which is in itself latent racism. They see all minority groups as marginalized and incapable, in so far that need preferential treatment over us the lucky over-priviledged majority.

If there was any truth in this altrustic attempt to minoritize the entirity of the British media, why doesn't Tim just hand his job over to an ethnic minority.

Not only would it assuage his own terminal middle class guilt, it would relieve our contempt of his kind too.

I think what's really sad, is that some people are actually fooled into thinking that because this blog is allowed to go uncensored (except my entry probably) that means the powers-that-be at the BBC are actually listening?

No. They are just trying to give the impression they are listening, when all they ever hear are the sounds of their own over-inflated, self important politics.

There is the exception - and (as is so often the case) the Jews are it. In their case they are "too capable, not to mention controlling the governments and media around the world.

The BBC will uphold the rights and welfare of any minority so long as it doesn't offend the people that really matter to them - the Muslims.

Yes you're right Teddy, the Orwellian mantra that no doubt permeates the BBC hallways:

Let's not forget the smallest minority on this earth - the individual: a minority which pro-collectivist propaganda machines like the BBC and NPR refuse to acknowledge (as does the left in general).

As for the left and race, well there is no doubt that they represent the last significant bastion of racist attitudes in the West. White leftists continually betray their barely cloaked feelings of superiority, by touting themselves as the "protectors" of minorities who don't have the capability of looking after themselves (apparently). Leftists who are vocally "anti-racism" are usually the worst offenders. Right now in NYC there is a big ruckus about the hiring practices of our fire service, which is around 80% white. There is NO discrimination going on - they just receive few applicants from ethnic minorities. So from this, leftists accused them of racism for "not doing enough to make the fire service attractive to minorities". Then they said that because there are so many white firefighters, minorities who ordinarily would think about joining, look in a firehouse and see that there "aren't many people who look like them" and so they're discouraged. The implication being that minorities are childish, primitive people who won't take a job unless there are other people of their race there.

I thought it was all done with, and yet today we have the news that the Department of Justice is suing the FDNY, accusing them of racist hiring practices. What do they mean? Well, the test procedure involves a written test, which minorities are not doing well on. According to the DOJ, the entire existence of a written test is "racist". Their EXPLICIT message is "minorities are less intelligent than whites, so you should dumb the test down". They aren't even making a secret of this, it's so out in the open. Yet another example of leftists showing their true racist colors.

Oh and I also forgot to mention that a particular hero of the anti-Capitalist left, Charles Dickens - who apparently did a great service by writing of the "horrors" of the Industrial Revolution (double life spans, quartered infant morality rates, I presume!). I've had Dickens quoted time and time again when I've debated with leftists on Capitalism. And yet Dickens was pro-slavery! He attacked Capitalism from a pro-slavery stance, by arguing that slavery was good for the "inferior races" since their contact with the "superior race" resulted in nothing but good for them. He attacked Capitalism because it was the philosophical system which was ending the slavery he valued so much. Does this matter to the left - of course not! He had the "best interests" of blacks at "heart", and he was anti-Capitalist, so...instant leftist hero!

Capitalism, as a philosophical, political and economic movement, has done more to end slavery, racism and the plight of non-whites (in fact everyone) in this world than anything else in history, and yet the left will not stop their vicious attacks against it. So we see that not only are the left hysterically racist in their attitudes, but they are also indifferent to the plight of people in this world. I've often thought that the left see the world as a big play about morality with the human race cast as actors, and they wish for certain people to remain in wretched subsistence and misery for all eternity, so that they get to play the part of the noble, caring warriors who fight the evil, greedy Capitalist oppressors. Anytime it looks like this play might be coming to an end, the left does all it can to write another act. I'm sorry if this is a little off topic from the BBC but you know the left gets my goat!

Speaking of "getting ones goat", the BBC are claiming that this story is receiving the most 'hits' on their website. They're giving everyone 'the goat'.

Bear in mind, this 'human' interest story at least manages to make their website, unlike any that might be happening in Iraq . Amazingly there are no links to the ongoing atrocities and violence in Darfur, which in case anyone has forgotten, is also in Sudan.

Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat

A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.
The goat's owner, Mr Alifi, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.

They ordered the man, Mr Tombe, to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars ($50) to Mr Alifi.

"We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together," Mr Alifi said.

Mr Alifi, of Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.

"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up."

Mr Alifi then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.

"They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife," Mr Alifi told the newspaper
