I wonder how the BBC executives would justify both of their main channels broadcasting Wimbledon through the afternoon. I hope they've further annoyed a lot more of their license payers with this decision, after all their quality of programmes is mostly poor at best, and this really shows total disregard for the viewing public, especially those who have no interest in tennis.

Saturday, and both BBC1 & 2 are continuing broadcasting Wimbledon throughout the day and into the evening. BBC1 was supposed to have regurgitated another episode of Only Fools and Horses at 18:10, but still at 19.00 they decided their viewers would prefer continued coverage at Wimbledon. Thank God it gets dark, he certainly knew what he was doing when he made the sun set.
You can bet some BBC executive is already planning the 100 Best Darts Tournaments, and 100 Best Snooker Tournaments, to be broadcast to their adoring viewers.

It is strange to see threads such as "ratings hit all time low" whereas Wimbldeon (the subject facing criticism) had over 60% of the audience watching.
Selective reading? or.............

Again - you miss the point. Whether by design or default remains to be seen.
