On the PM programme (Radio 4) at 17:14 on 22.x.12 Nick Jones was interviewed and said that as a reporter he had had items dropped because the BBC had "an agenda".
The items cited were:
1 "The reporting of industrial disputes" in the nineteen-eighties "because the BBC had an uneasy relationship with Margaret Thatcher's government".
2 "Items about lobbyists' access to government" were not broadcast because the BBC "didn't want to upset the government led by Tony Blair".
