Considering the near unlimited budget that BBC has at it's disposal, the figures published by BARB, the independant TV viewers monitor, shows a steady decline in those who care to watch it. A real tribute to the actual value of BBC quality by those remaining who care to watch it. One can only think that the only reason the government continues to grant them their licence fee, is that after the BBC are through serving themselves, they next serve the government. Eventually there must come a time when the government of the day, seeing the decline in figures, will realise that they will be more popular ending the licence fee than seeking to manipulate minds using the BBC. I raise my glass "TO THAT TIME" Annual % Shares of Viewing (Individuals) 1981-2005(hat tip to Sean www.tvlicensing.biz/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1920&highlight=)
