I don't usually check the BBC children's website, much less watch their programmes, but we have noted quite a few examples in the past showing a definite attempt by the BBC to spin their agenda to kids and 'get them at an early age'.

Hard Times, as the title to a programme about the deprivations that children in Britain are experiencing during the economic downturn, conjures up images of Dickensian work houses and chimney sweeps. It amounts almost to a political statement in itself.
Lord Tebbit, the former Tory cabinet minister, is dismayed that the BBC saw fit to broadcast it yesterday as a “Newsround special” as part of their CBBC children’s programming. “This was one area of televison that was sacrosanct and untainted by ever having involved itself in anything that could be seen to be political,” Lord Tebbit tells me. “Not any more. Given that the BBC is now run as a subsidiary of the Labour Party, I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised.”
Ricky Boleto, the programme’s presenter, spoke to youngsters living in Hull and Stoke-on-Trent. He asked Maggie Atkinson, the Children’s Commissioner for England, if “the people in power” understood “the emotional and psychological impact the recession is having on children.” She used the opportunity to appeal to ministers: “Please don’t cut this hard and this fast.”
Daniel Clarke, the editor of Newsround, insists the programme did not “get into party political issues.”
On the programme’s website, children are asked if they are themselves having “money troubles.” A girl identified only as Molly from South Shields responds: “It has not affected me. Everybody’s moaning about money, when the important thing is family.” Good for her.
