All the BBC reports on the death of Ariel Sharon I have seen or heard contain more quotes from terrorist sources, or Israeli detractors, than comments on the man's achievements. Typical is the web site article Ariel Sharon death stirs conflicting emotions across political divide. Whatever happened to the usual BBC "nihil nisi bonum" which clearly applies if an Arab dies?

I know that BBC Watch have done a very thorough job of monitoring the way the BBC have used Sharon's death via questionable sources to demonize him, and Israel's policies, with no attempt at balance or accuracy. We saw something quite similar with Thatcher, and the contrast with their 'idol' Mandela. They've also just produced a criticism of the article you link to Charm. Others include: Honest Reporting have also noted skewed reports closer to home from Sky News - Sky News’s Distorted Sharon Narrative
