Saturday 7th June, on BBC2, we were treated to a wonderful reminder that humour about politics does not have to mention names, or be nasty, or to have a political bias in order to be funny.
I refer, of course, to the timeless "Yes, Prime Minister" which was hilarious without being in any way party biased. Toksvig, Hardy, Holmes, Benn, Brigstocke, et al, eat your hearts out.

That, and so many other comedies at the time, that showed all the elements that are sadly lacking in most of them today. Also reminds us how much our world has changed in a relatively short time.
