Andrew Neil is one of the very VERY few at the BBC who would dare to challenge ANY Muslim, let alone a known promoter of radical Islam, in the way he has. It's what the BBC would refer to as their attempt at balance, but the very fact that this programme was screened after 11:40pm on a weekday night made sure that very few viewers were going to see it. It's what we know is the real 'balance' of the BBC. Even Michael Portillo at the very end of the programme made reference to how often the BBC were giving Qureshi air time without challenging anything he had to say. Good spot dj

One of the problems that I have is that these members of the liberal elite attack Christianity as many Christians are against gay marriage and the liberal elite then define them as fundamentalists and full of hatred. However, the mainly Muslim countries either imprison or execute homosexual and they're NEVER questioned on their views about these things. The same with the evolution debate, it's forced into Muslim schools in the UK and across the world but they're never questioned on these things. It's like Christians are held to a higher standard but then the elite claim Christians are worse. Makes no sense.

The 'sense' that I see within this dynamic is this: The liberal elite as you call them are those with an inferiority complex, probably developed from a young age, concerning their mental acuity. Instead of normal development whereby they would become free thinkers, possibly due to peer pressure or family, their brain 'shut down'. So they cling to whatever tenets sound good in theory, but without any ability to think things through.
To free themselves from the inner consciousness of their inferiority they seek power, which is why many of them gravitate to the media or politics. In this way they can avoid actually having to achieve anything in the real world, but they can dominate AS IF they really knew what they were doing on any particular subject.
They will be anti ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that presents a different view than the one they want to project. Christianity being just of those you mention. But where they fear repercussion, as in this case of Islam, they will bow and scrape to avoid conflict. (Dim and Dhimmi)
I don't present this just to be derogatory but they are truly psychologically challenged. A normal person would weigh up the facts that they have and come to a conclusion based on these. If they are given more facts they will alter their view accordingly. Those who feel inferior inside judge their own initial failure to reach a perfect vision as further proof of their inferiority. So if they can use reality in such a way as to prevent truth and facts from emerging, and silence any opposition, they will follow this path.
Comparisons can be seen quite readily between those of this mindset described above and those radical Muslims. Instead of confronting their own mental abilities and working on improving them, they are given the way whereby they are told 'the way they think is already perfect, and their job now is to silence opponents by any and every means possible'.
It is the way of the psychopath!
The inmates are running the asylum. A normal healthy person does not seek power for its own sake. They would rather have harmony and true integration where possible. We are coming to the stage where the healthy ones will have to take control and wrest it from this mindset - there is no other way to go on.

Without sounding pessimistic, what would it take for these people to wake up to this threat? Countries over run by these fanatics, Planes flying into buildings, people getting their heads chopped off in our streets in broad day light, buses and trains being blown up, people being executed over cartoons, slavery, rape, paedophilia etc all in the name of this ideology.... these things have already happened and many are still happening. What else needs to happen?

You raise a very interesting and possibly the most important question relative to human history throughout the ages, and what human beings need to do in the future to prevent the continual recurrence of the same dynamics.
What I can observe from history is that this mindset DO NOT WAKE UP! Before the current threat from Islamists, the last encounter our society had with this mindset on a grand scale was with the Nazis. When they were vanquished and overthrown did those that had supported the Nazis admit within that they were wrong to have done what they did, or rather just pretend so?
The free thinkers that had overthrown this menace and removed them from power, and restored the world to a free state, then wanted to get on with enjoying their lives. Free thinkers do not seek power for its own sake, and are content to let others 'gravitate' to those positions. What we have really learned from the past now is that those who really seek this power are the ones that in the future we will have to overcome again, for they only have their own self interest at heart - not the greater good of mankind. But they use the pretence that they are working for the 'greater good' as the masquerade to gain power.
Since now they control public expression on a grand scale, and therefore prevent the type of exchange that might cause them to think about their mental limitations and do something better about them, I cannot see any way other than a physical confrontation to remove them from this position. It is precisely because of the menace they have imported to our society that will create this eventual reality. Free thinkers rightfully resent this gross invasion and will fight to the death to remove it, and those who have caused it.
History shows us this example time and time again. What needs to be learned is how to prevent it from happening AFTER they have been removed. Consciousness of our human frailty in this regard needs to be maintained and proper education established until ONLY free thinkers exist in the world, ridding us of the disease of psychopathic tendencies.

I don't know if you stayed up to watch him again dj, but Andrew is clearly not shy about sharing his views on these Islamic scum. Just a pity he's on so late that most of the licence fee payers won't have seen him, much to the delight of the BBC.

And just think, all he did was tell the truth! The uncomfortable truth.
