What the BBC should be showing

The BBC does its best to spread its influence all over the world. I have no doubt it's only for its own arrogant ambitions. Otherwise, seeing as how it is operating all over the world, it should be more aware of what is going on in it, and reporting especially those things that operate against our society - the one who pays for it.

It shows the contempt that the BBC really holds for its license fee payers, who just foot the bill for their hegemony. We can see in the (lack of) quality of the programmes the BBC offers, all the way to the amount of bloated expenses the BBC staff milk, the regard and responsibility held towards the dumb public - dumbed down even further by the BBC and much of the other media.


They so want to rule that they're not concerned if the intelligence of the public is so neutered by rubbish and nonsense that they will accept anything thrown at them. For sure, intelligent people would not stand for their continued twisted and distorted output followed by mealy mouthed denials to answer their critics.


Here's a TV documentary made by a CNN host, who when he first saw some of the images shown, was amazed that the media wasn't shouting it from the rooftops.


This is what the BBC should be showing to justify their presence around the world.

It's an hour long, but if you can't watch it that long, at least watch the first 10 minutes.

Beck says he decided to show some of the remarkable footage the rest of the mainstream media refuses to show because "Islamic extremism is the biggest threat to our way of life since World War Two and we'll never be able to fight it if we can't even see it."

Yes its a very good documentary of which I've already seen. I'm not positive but I think Beck is the only conservative voice given serious time on CNN. I'm glad you posted it and hope any interested here will take the time.

CNN had recently shown another video of Iraqi terrorists picking off American servicemen. There was no real point of it as American deaths are given the highest priority in our media every single day. What good has been established in the majority of provinces most in our media don't wanna show, just like global media. This video was produced some time ago by the terrorists and used for their propaganda. It can only help their cause for recruitment, and produce pessimism with the American public causing further reason to pull out. They gave it to a willing CNN, and since they had it for a while its very likely CNN went looking.

Your main point giving an example of what the BBC should be doing is well taken. It would certainly be no problem for them. I just want readers outside the US to know that CNN is every bit as bad as the BBC. Having a conservative commentator amongst their over whelming majority of PC Leftists will only help them look more credible to the American public. Personally, I wish no Conservative/Libertarian commentators would work for CNN

Cheers Steevo - I'm sure you mean that CNN is every bit as bad as the BBC in terms of bias. But since CNN is a private media company viewers can be aware that they will have their own agenda and balance it out with another like Fox. In the case of the BBC they are expected to be impartial and balanced, in fact there is a demand or charter for them to be this way.So any bias on their part will do far more damage as most will accept theri version as the truth. This makes them far more insidious and corrupt than CNN. While CNN may be "bad", BBC is "evil".
