It seems that anything bad that has to do with Muslims from the beeb's perspective is not included (even if it is THE factor), e.g the 7/7 bombings of London: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_depth/uk/2005/london_explosions/default.stmNot one word of "Muslim" or "Islam" is found on that page, yet the whole motivation for the attack was to do with Islam. Now if it is a good thing, then as this example shows: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7125369.stmThe word "Muslims" is not only carpet blanking the entire followers of the ideology but it is clearly in the title (never mind on the page!). Can you imagine if the title read "Muslims bomb London on the tube/bus" for the London bombers webpage? Of course you can not, as it would never happen!

I can see what you mean Van, and it seems to be their usual double standard policy that any negative act perpetrated by Muslims UNDER THE BANNER of 'Islamic retribution' is not referred to as an act committed by Muslims in subsequent BBC articles. To be fair in this case though there is at least one article on that page which does, when showing the link to Al-Qaeda
