I'm sitting here listening to NPR's morning BBC output (I'm a sucker for punishment) and they're at the beardie-weirdie global warming camp at Heathrow. I actually feel nauseous.
They have some plum-mouthed leftist elite reporter wandering round interviewing plum-mouthed leftist elite families who have kids with them. A sample exchange between reporter and brainwashed young child (around 6 or 7 yrs):
Reporter: You know a lot about global warming don't you?
Child (shyly): Yes.
Reporter: You enjoy living as part of a collective don't you?
Child (shyly, uncertainly): Yes.
There you have it ladies and gentlemen. The kids know best. Global warming is real; a childs natural state is Communism. Are we learning anything?

you can imagine the child having the image of a ball that glows when its warmed in response to the reporter's first question, and thinking he's being asked whether he likes collecting stuff.
I just know there's a couple of balls I'd like to see glowing from a swift kick that I'd apply to really 'warm them up'.
You deserve a medal AL, for service beyond the call of duty. I feel bile just reading your synopsis.

I don't listen to the Morning Edition or All Things Distorted, I am not that much of a glutton for punishment. So the closest thing I can tolerate that seems similar is watching video discussed on like-minded 'right-wing' sites about the collective of Muslim children sitting down being taught Jews are from the Devil, we're pigs and suicide jihad is life's greatest aspiration. Sorry Al

Can you imagine if the kid gave his honest, unrehearsed answer?
Reporter: You know a lot about global warming, don't you?
Kid: No. I prefer Bob the Builder.
Reporter: You enjoy living as part of a collective, don't you?
Kid: These people smell funny and they have scary eyes.
Parent to kid (later): You know we don't believe in guilt Jake, but if we did, we'd hope you'd be feeling very ashamed of yourself right now.

Just contrasting that story with another. While the dynamics are the same, the 'message' is on quite another sphere. They missed the opportunity to ask Saraa if she also likes collectives and whether she knows much about glowball warming.
