Following meetings by Jimmy Carter with Hamas, most of the media organisations make perfectly clear that Hamas is willing to receive all lands lost in the 1967 war, but will still not recognize Israel. (This is what passes as 'diplomacy' by Carter in his fuzzy liberal left brain.) However the BBC headline states categorically that Carter: Hamas will accept Israel Then later another article on the same theme with the headline Hamas rejects Israeli recognition Confused? Carter justifies his talks, after dismissing US and Israeli requests that he not participate in them, with this ridiculous outcome, as well as securing a 'deal' whereby an Israeli soldier kidnapped by Hamas 2 years ago would be exchanged for hundreds of Hamas prisoners held by Israel. This outcome just about sums up Carter's presidential victories. The BBC also uses the first article to present the opinion of 2 human rights organisations concerning the killing last week of a Reuters cameraman. Bear in mind the Israeli military is still investigating this incident, yet these organisations claim already to KNOW that it was due to an Israeli tank and a certain kind of shell. The Palestinians bystanders themselves had first claimed it was due to an air strike, so you'd think the BBC would wait for the outcome of the official investigation before vilifying Israel, but that's just not the BBC way, unless it's to protect their own interests.
