Front page of all tabloids are the BBC phone in scam.
The BBC have come clean purely because they are being investigated and have realised they are not going to get away with it.
I had to laugh when I read that about 6 producers had been suspended. As if the BBC would ever sack any of it's sicophantic accolytes. They've merely been sent home with full pay so they don't accidentally assist the investigation.
As soon as the investigation is over, the BBC will make a half assed apology, pay the fine from the license fee and re-instate every producer involved in the scam.
Yet again, the BBC will prove they can do what they like when they like, even if it means taking from needy children.

You're spot on Indi. The good thing is that they can only keep making their 'excuses' on these and other issues for so long. The public's belief in their 'whiter than white' image has still been tarnished, and can't be used by liberals as evidence of their correct view of things quite so much.

dont you think they will use the "we're coming clean" nonsense as another smokescreen while still churning out the same old biased tripe and still claiming the"fair, balanced" baolney. These reptiles are in for the long haul, and always have been

I guess it's hard for any of us here to know how those who previously believed in the 'righteousness' of the BBC will have had their belief shattered, or at least dented. Perhaps if any of this ilk happen to be reading this they can share their feelings with us. My feeling is they are like the criminals caught in the act for a few crimes, and ask other crimes to be taken into account so as not to be 'caught' later for these crimes. While we here know that this is still only the tip of the iceberg of their real transgressions, it has still revealed the beeb to have shown criminal tendencies. Whatever else, this has severely tarnished their image, and given the nature of this seditious and unethical organisation, there is no doubt that more is to follow. From now on, every time any of their spokesmen come to defend future actions, they will have a hard job using the 'fair' and balanced' cliche with quite so much arrogance as previously. I don't think they will shake the effect of these recent scandals quite so easily, but they are still a long way from toppling yet. Let's keep hammering away
