On November 9th The University of Bristol issued a press release regarding the findings of research by Dr. Wolfgang Knorr into the airborne fraction of anthropogenic Co2 emissions. It highlighted that there has been negligible difference in absorption since 1850, when 2 billions tonnes per annum were pumped out and now when we pump out 35 billion tonnes per annum. This research was done using measurements and statistical data, including historical records extracted from Antarctic ice, and was NOT reliant on complex computer models. However, these important findings were nowhere to be found on the BBC, and Newsnight preferred to have a cosy chat with Ed Moribund and similarly minded types (at the house of one of their reporter's) about how far towards the stone-age we should return to for the sake of the planet. God help us all.

Hi Prof' and welcome to Biased BBC Forum. As you see from this, and the other areas of bias, BBC reporting has little to do with facts, unless this area is not perceived to serve the BBC agenda. You only need to see the amount of money the hierarchy rake off the licence fee to know they have no integrity or honesty.
