news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/middle_east/10603486.stmThe link through from the Middleeast section previously had an image of the 'BREAKING NEWS' image. Within 2 mins they decided it wasn't breaking news anymore and replaced it with an Israeli flag.
Israel admits Gaza flotilla raid 'mistakes' Page last updated at 14:40 GMT, Monday, 12 July 2010 15:40 UK
The aid flotilla was trying to break Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip Israel's military operation against a Gaza-bound aid flotilla was undermined by mistakes at a senior level, a military report has concluded.
The Israeli probe into the operation criticises intelligence gathering and forward planning, reports say.
Commanders also relied too heavily on one single plan, Israel says.
The aid flotilla was trying to break Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip when it was intercepted it on 31 May. Nine activists died.
---------------------------------------- You could be forgiven for thinking that Israel admitted its soilders shouldn't have attacked the 'islamists' . But digging deeper in other news sources, you find the actual error was, "The investigators said the navy failed to sufficiently consider the possibility the troops could encounter violent resistance during the May 31 operation."so actually Israel is guilty of being nieve towards the threat of Islamists violence!

Well spotted dj - I thought a similar thing when I read the article. The probe also commended the soldiers involved in the operation, but a headline praising Israel in this operation could hardly be expected from the 'balanced and impartial' BBC
