I listened in as usual and have just sent yet another email to the programme;
"Q- How many bankers does it take to ruin the global economy?
A- A handful at most- as long as they are aided and abetted by thousands of self-serving, populist, economically delinquent politicians, and millions of gullible people who can be persuaded to fall for their electioneering bribes and unrealistic promises.
Every intelligent person in the world knows this is the truth, including yourselves (with the exception of poor Evan whose pathetic snivelling cheap-shot at the PM this morning exposed him as biased against the elected government, and hopelessly intellectually compromised by his idealistic conditioning) who none the less are under orders from your NUJ commissars to use every cheap trick in the propagandist's locker to persuade the masses that you and your allies have systematically dumbed down, to believe the bankers are solely to blame for all our problems!
I concede that there is nothing I can do against your unassailable position of power and influence over the people you are deliberately conspiring to seriously misinform.
Soon the very same politicians who embraced the policy of illusory economic growth through cheap and high-risk credit, and who deliberately chose to under-regulate the financial services industry here in the UK, and of course in the US, will be portrayed as the victims like the rest of 'us', leaving the way clear for them to triumphantly return to reign over us once more, as the Herculean task of blame transference you are engaged in comes to fruition, and the 'evil bankers' are finally perceived by your listeners as being the sole culprits, or should I say scapegoats!
I mean even yourselves must have felt a tiny twinge of guilt when you actually allowed Alistair Darling, in an interview concerning the Fred Goodwin controversy, to cast the blame on the regulators of the financial services industry that the government he himself was part of rendered toothless and totally under-equipped to do their job! Shame on you.
Nothing you do surprises me, everything you do disappoints me, but don't worry, people like me are now the minority. You will succeed in all you are attempting to do, and in the end your success will be our economic and social downfall, which I'm sure you will also blame on the bankers, even though they will have long since vanished overseas to where their talent for wealth creation is appreciated, and where they are not subject to persecution by a politically motivated, biased, unionised, leftist media."

For Evan's nasty, snide little dig at the PM go to just after the sports report around half-past eight, 2h30m17s in. But really my email wasn't just about today's programme, even though it contained a thinly veiled attack on the policy of QE in advance of the later decision by the B of E to print another £50 billion.
Of course they failed to point out that this was a non-government decision, that Osbourne hates QE, and that under the last government QE rose to £200 billion and now stands at £325 billion since 2009. Also of course, not to mention it was 'hit the deck running' Blair and Brown that handed such authority from the elected government to the bureaucrats at the B of E.
No it's the impression you get from listening to the programme every morning for years. Once you realise what they're up to it gets more and more obvious, and more and more deeply disturbing.
