It's a place where locals have buried their loved ones for generations. Where they pay their respects and love bringing fresh flowers to the graves, and perhaps think problems through feeling their departed friends and family are there with them.
But for the BBC it's a place where they can film a TV series about Zombies. Their justification for angering these residents is:
'Wherever possible we try and be as authentic as possible in our filming locations
That they deem this location as 'possible' shows their complete contempt for what it means to people there.
They did get permission from the local council, and no prizes for guessing that it's a Labour majority one.

BBC anger grieving relatives by turning cemetery into film location for a ZOMBIE television series

The BBC has angered a group of relatives who went to tend the graves of their loved ones only to find it crawling with film crew shooting scenes for a zombie TV series.
The mourners realised the area was being used as a location for supernatural BBC Three show 'In The Flesh' when they arrived at the cemetery in Glossop, Derbyshire, to pay their respects and lay flowers.
At first the group, who have branded the organisation 'insensitive', discovered the drive was filled with location trucks - while a huge floodlighting tower loomed over the graveyard from a field next door.
But disbelief turned to anger when they realised the cast and crew were shooting scenes for the BBC3 show set after a 'zombie uprising' when the undead are 'rehabilitated back into society'.
Last night, as film crews remained at the graveyard, the BBC issued an apology, but claimed it always did its 'utmost' to ensure filming locations were 'authentic'.
One relative ,Christine Allen, who was visiting her mother’s grave last weekend, said: 'When I got there I found the place floodlit.
'And all the noise coming from the generator on the other side of the wall made it sound like a circus. But then we found out what was going on.
'It was hurtful for people who had recently lost someone, there was no dignity.
'No one should make a film about zombies near a cemetery. It’s terrible!'
Another widower, who asked not to be named, described the choice of the cemetery for filming as 'bad taste'.
'I come here at least once a week to visit my wife’s grave. She’s been dead over three years now, but it still hurts.
'I was surprised to see the crew and the vans here, but that was nothing compared to the shock I felt when I found out they were making a programme about zombies.
'It just seems like bad taste, but I suppose the council will be getting well paid, so anyone who doesn’t like it can lump it. All I know is no one asked me about it.'
Staff at High Peak Borough Council received calls of complaint and tried their best to soothe angry residents.
A spokesman said: 'We were approached by the BBC several months ago about the use of the cemetery as a filming location.
'After meeting on site with members of the production team the council allowed filming to go ahead subject to several conditions, including no names on headstones being shown and access at all times for visitors to graves.
'The filming itself has been confined to a small area in a quiet part of the cemetery where the graves are mainly from the Victorian period and the council worked with the BBC to ensure no paths were closed off.'
The spokesman also said notices had been placed around the area informing people of what was happening and a member of BBC staff had been on hand at the cemetery gates to tell people about the filming and offer reassurances.
The lead role in the show is played by 23 year-old Luke Newberry who portrays Kieren, a zombie who is treated and brought back into society.
The second series of the show will star new cast member Emmett Scanlan - who is best known for his part as Brendan Brady in Channel 4′s Hollyoaks.
Set in the fictional Roarton, the new six-episode series is scheduled to air later this year.
A BBC3 spokesman said: 'We recognise the sensitivities surrounding filming in this location and have done our utmost to inform local residents and keep access to the cemetery open.
'Unfortunately due to filming considerations access on one occasion was limited which we regret and we apologise for any offence this may have caused. We will make sure this does not happen again.
'The filming has taken place with the full consent of the council. We do however recognise the sensitivity of filming in such a location and liaise fully with the local authority to keep disruption to a minimum.
'Wherever possible we try and be as authentic as possible in our filming locations and do our utmost to respect the environment and community we are working with.'
