In June this year, a mother of two was found decapitated at her home and her husband was arrested for her murder.
Yesterday at the Old Bailey, her husband denied attacking her.
Here's the only 2 articles on this incident I can find on the BBC website.
First I notice that it took nearly a week for the BBC to publish an article on it. Here's the article from the Evening Standard on the day it happened and as you will also see it goes into far greater detail than the BBC. So no question that the BBC were unaware of this incident long before they decided to publish anything on it.
So it raises the questions, why should the BBC take so long to 'inform their public' of this incident, and why too in such a meagre fashion?
So let's compare this to another gruesome incident that happened earlier this year, a hammer attack on 3 sisters visiting the UK from the UAE. This time the BBC runs their first article the next day.
The search of the BBC website reveals the following articles since this incident.

So how do you account for the differences in reporting on these 2 crimes?
Might the fact that in the first the accused is named Naveed Ahmed, and in the second the name is Phillip Spence, have something to do with it?

Here's the only 2 articles on this incident I can find on the BBC website.
Tahira Ahmed case: Wife 'found decapitated after row'
2 June 2014 Last updated at 16:29
A mother of two found dead at her home in west London had been decapitated, the Old Bailey has heard.
Tahira Ahmed, 38, was discovered by police on 27 May in the living room of her house in Merton Avenue, Northolt after neighbours heard an argument.
A post-mortem examination found both her arms had been broken. It also found she had been stabbed and decapitated.
Ms Ahmed's husband, Naveed Ahmed, 41, has been charged with her murder and was remanded in custody.
He will next appear on 18 August.
During the hearing, the court was told the couple had lived together for 14 years.

Hammer attack in women's Marble Arch hotel room
7 April 2014 Last updated at 17:21
Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch. The women were attacked in their hotel room near Marble Arch, Scotland Yard said
Three women have been bludgeoned by a hammer-wielding attacker in a room at a central London hotel.
The man entered a room on the seventh floor of the Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch where three women and three children were sleeping, police said.
It is believed that when one of the women woke up, they were hit about the face and head with a hammer.
The Met said the condition of one woman was "critical" and the attack was being treated as attempted murder.
'Unusually violent attack'
Scotland Yard said the suspect struck shortly before 02:00 BST on Sunday and a hammer was recovered from the scene.
Det Ch Insp Andy Chalmers said: "This was an unusually violent attack on three women and I am very keen to speak with anyone who was in or around the hotel between 01:00 and 02:00 on Sunday morning."
It is understood that the women, who are all from the United Arab Emirates and in their 30s, had deliberately left their door unlocked because they were staying in the hotel as part of a large family group.
It is thought the family, who had come to London for shopping and sightseeing, had visited large West End stores on Saturday.
Police said no keys had been stolen and they were carrying out "a detailed forensic examination both of the room as well as the surrounding area" and examining CCTV.
A spokesman for Guoman Hotels, which runs the 1,000-room Cumberland, said: "All of our thoughts are with the families of the injured women.
"We are doing everything we can to support the police with their enquiry, but it is too early to comment any further."
