The man says himself in his own blog that:
"I do reply to all complaints as long as they aren’t abusive."
Dare I be so cyncial as to suggest that I find that HIGHLY unlikely. Considering they routinely wipe my comments off the Have Your Say board which are never offensive, shouldn't Alistair really be saying:
"I do reply to all complaints as long as they are complaints that aren't right."
As he goes into so much trouble to tell us about how he intends to respond to a complaint which has absolutely no point at all, can I ask if anyone has ever recieved a response from the man about a complaint which actually has a point?
Either way, I'll be writing my next complaint to him to see if he truly does respond to all complaints. I'd say he's put him himself between a roc k and a hard place with that admission.

Indi' I suggest you post all letters that you send to the BBC in our 'Don't Have Your Say' topic. This is what it was designed for, and it will enable us to show proof positive about what the BBC prefers to conceal to counter false claims such as those made by Burnett above.
