(hat-tip Biased BBC Blogspot) Continuing their avoidance of mentioning militant Islamism as a reason for perpetrating horrors around the world, the BBC neglect to mention just who the particular group Abu Sayyef in the Philippines were, after they kidnapped and beheaded a teacher on failing to get the ransom they demanded. You'd have to search the BBC on another article from a few months go when US soldiers were killed in the Philippines to find out that this group were: Abu Sayyaf is one of the smallest but deadliest Islamist militant groups in the largely Roman Catholic Philippines. Besides the name of the group itself, I knew who they would be just by seeing the BBC avoiding any details about them in today's article. Blindingly Blinkard Creeps
