news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/europe/10611398.stmI often notice the BBC loves to give us mere mortals educational lessons on Islam whilst reporting the news. The otherday there was one on the beard and the today (as many times in the past) they are back to educating us of the 'muslim' headscarves. Look at the nice graphics they've had made up with our money to teach us about the different headscarves available... errh... thanks. Amazing that the BBC has missed the point. They make no references to countries where the headscarves have caused women to be beaten and murdered!!!! Of course, cause they are Muslim countries so thats not PC. Not one example of a women facing any sort of discrimination. Instead they spend their time and our money on having graphics made up.

First thing looking at the article is the top picture With this caption A French Muslim woman was recently fined 22 euros for driving while wearing a full-face veil All I can say is if this is a picture of a French Muslim woman, maybe they should reconsider banning the full-face veil, and make it mandatory. ;D

You seem to have hit on something here dj - here's today's offering: A funeral is held in Gaza for Qassim al-Shinbari, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, who was killed by an Israeli tank shell near Beit Hanoun. The shell also wounded a 10-year-old girl.

Yep, this just shows how political the BBC are. Don't get me wrong, i like to see pictures from around the world, i don't think they are PC. But can you honestly say these are just good pictures with no political meanings?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-10738684Day in pictures: 23 July 2010 Common purpose too in Indonesia - the planet's most populous Muslim nation - where worshippers prayed facing Mecca on Friday after the country's Islamic authorities corrected an edict that pointed people towards Somalia, not Saudi Arabia. two today... A sense of loss in Jerusalem, where relatives of Palestinians jailed by Israel protest in the Old City for the release of their loved ones.

Stange that, couldn't find any of those stories on the BBC News website... surprise surprise. No doubt if an Israeli coughed at a Palestinian it would make the headlines there.
Eg. Mid-East Headlines; Spaniards file Israeli raid case I mean, all the bombings and murders and they lead with this story.

The BBC liberals have to show they're strong in combating evil. So they demonize Israel because they're a safe target, and close their eyes to the real evil going on in the world lest they bring repercussions upon themselves.
Insidious cowards!

Given the number of Palestinian pictures, not to mention Islamic, used in this BBC 'human interest' webpage, and not one of Israel, it's clear that the BBC see a world without Israel.
How dare they consider themselves as serving a democratic society.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-1092655510 August 2010 Last updated at 15:08 GMT Day in pictures An official from Malaysia's Islamic authority performs "rukyah" - the sighting of the new moon that marks the start of Ramadan - in Putrajaya, outside Kuala Lumpur. The world’s largest clock is being built atop a skyscraper in Mecca. The Saudi Arabian authorities hope to establish the city as an alternate time standard to Greenwich Mean Time. ------------------------------- Shockingly the BBC seem keen to promote this as well, how patriotic. Once again the BBC is keen to portray the most intolerant country in the world in a positive light. No mention of the Islamic context associated with the clock though. Nor the fact it was probably built by what we call 'Slave labour'. The BBC is indeed truly anti-west.
